Devious Journal Entry

dA gave me a random one week subscription!

=====

Roomie and I went to check out the duplex we might be moving into soon. I like it a lot. We got to see the backyard and I though "Wow, our traffic cone would like this so much more than our balcony."

...Yes, we have a pet traffic cone. I love it greatly.

Still alive.

Just got through checking a week's worth of deviations.

I love you all.

I've been too busy with music projects to be working on visual art, ATM. :/

Check out [link] if you want to hear a bit.

Hopefully there'll be a website up soon with everything I've done recently. Myspace has been giving me processing errors whenever I try to upload new songs.

Insert apology here

I've been keeping up with everyone's deviations on my watch list, but haven't been commenting or replying to comments.

Sorry.

I'm trying to spend as little time at the computer as possible. My brain was feeling too "*sit* *stare* *drool*".

This is making me feel much more free. I've been watching movies, reading books (and re-reading a ton of Stephen King), and plotting the demise of the world...

Okay, scratch that last one. I've been trying to plan what I want to do with my life, trying to figure out what's really important to me and what I want to improve on. I'm extremely tired of not being good enough at anything.

=====

I had a sociologist-type revelation today at work. People listen to others tell the same story over and over, because they like listening to people speak.

Chances are you don't care about how your good friend lost a tissue in the hall of their high school oh-so-many years ago (for a random, made up example), and you care even less now that you've heard the same story 5+ times... but you'll hapilly listen to them tell you about it, just like how they'll listen to you babble about how you backed your car into a ditch at 4 in the morning one wintery morning, even though you end up telling that tale whenever cold weather is brought up.

It's not because you're trying to be polite. Real friends would understand if you said "uh... I heard this one before". It's because stories are entertaining and pass the time, and maybe a bit because we have the aural tradition ingrained in our little pre-programmed heads.

New dA account.

Yes, I've moved over here. Hello.

I'm going through old art seeing what I want to bother to reupload, and it's very apparent that I don't draw right eyes well.
